Joseph Adam Jonas was born in Casa Grande, Arizona on August 15th, 1989. Joseph Adam Jonas is the middle brother in the Jonas Brothers famous teen band. Joe plays guitar and also does lead and backing vocals with Nick his younger brother; their older brother Kevin rounds out the band. Joe Jonas is a religious young man as he was brought up in a religious background (their father, Kevin Sr., is an Assembly of God minister), and his clean cut, nice boy image appeals to the fans and their parents alike.
Joe Jonas is about two years younger than Kevin and three years older than Nick. Another brother, Frankie is the youngest of the Jonas brothers, but is not part of the band. Joe Jonas is 5'9" tall, with dark curly hair and a bright smile. Joe Jonas gets his great coloring and complexion because of his mixed heritages of Italian, Irish, German, and Cherokee Indian descent.
Joe Jonas has some great hobbies like making movies, jogging, and working out. He can play several instruments including guitar, piano, and percussion. Some of his
favorite things are Color: Blue, food: chicken cutlet sandwich w/ mayo, favorite ice cream: Chocolate Marshmallow, and his favorite sports is Wiffel Ball.
Joe Jonas, along with his three brothers Kevin, Nick and Frankie also star in their own Disney Channel Original Series, entitled J.O.N.A.S. He actually wanted to be a comedian, and wanted to audition for sketch comedy shows, but he was always had a calling for music, and loves listening many kinds of music, especially rock.
Joe Jonas does not smoke, drink alcohol, or use drugs. This is something that he chooses to keep out of his life. Joe like his brothers also wears a purity ring on their left-hand ring finger, to show their vow to abstain from sex until married. Joe has said that the rings symbolize "a promise to ourselves and to God that we'll stay pure till marriage,"
